The Elms has set the standard in assisted living in Southern Rhode Island and Southeastern Connecticut. After multiple expansions and continued renovation, The Elms has become one of the premier New England communities of its kind.

In 1985, Guy Maiorano, purchased a beautiful little Victorian on Elm Street in Westerly. Inspired by his very own grandmother's needs, his mission became to provide seniors a supportive quality of life that they could not get anywhere else. Since that time, he has expanded The Elms five times in order to meet the growing demand of so many seniors who want to call The Elms their home.

Today The Elms can accommodate 100 seniors all cared for and catered to by over 50 staff members who are dedicated to our residents and their families.
